Free Introductory Lesson

At NSM we offer a free introductory lesson to prospective new students. This gives the student, and the parent or guardian of minor students, an opportunity to meet with the instructor and see how he approaches the process of teaching. In an individual lesson environment, it has to be a good fit for everyone in order to work well. The instructor and the student (and the parent/guardian of a minor) need to be in agreement about how the lessons will be conducted. The free introductory lesson allows all involved a chance to get to know one another.

Registration

Once the student decides to begin lessons, our registration form (to view - refer to graphic to the right) must be completed and payment for the first month’s tuition must be made in order to secure a time slot on the instructor’s schedule.

Tuition is $100.00 per month. If the student begins lessons mid-month, tuition is prorated for that month. Payment is due by the student’s fourth lesson for the upcoming month. We offer payment online via PayPal, or check or cash can be given to the student’s instructor.

Payment secures the student’s time slot on the instructor’s schedule for the next month. If the payment is not received before the start of the new month, the student's time slot is now available to be given to another student.

There are four thirty-minute lessons per month, one per week in the student’s assigned time slot. When there is a “fifth lesson day” in a month, NSM is closed. In this way, the tuition remains consistent from month-to-month because the student receives four lessons every month.

Please note: Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied to all lessons by a parent or an adult guardian.

The commitment to taking lessons at NSM is month-to-month. If the student or parent/guardian decide not to continue lessons, as a courtesy please inform the instructor before the end of the month so that he can offer your time slot to someone else at the beginning of the next month.
